Trocchi, a native Glaswegian, was Great Britain's most influential contributor to the literature of the Beats, author of the controversial, highly praised drug novel, Cain's Book (1960). This is his first (and only) collection of poems. Issued simultaneously in wrappers; the cloth issue is rather less common.
