Fourth and final issue of this innovative, short-lived periodical, which appeared irregularly between 1953 and 1956. It was the first magazine associated with the New York School poets. This issue notably includes Aldan's full translation of Mallarmé's surrealist long poem "Un Coup de Des" ("A Throw of the Dice") – the first translation of the poem into English. Other contributors include Frank O'Hara, Richard Eberhart, James Broughton, Kenward Elmslie, Peter Hanke, Ned Rorem, and Ben Weber; the original color screen-print is by Felix Pasilis (signed in screen); cover illustration by Grace Hartigan.
