Posthumous collection by the Nigerian poet and freedom fighter, who died in battle in the Nigerian Civil War. This was the first collected edition of Okigbo's work to appear, preceded only by two small collections printed in Ibadan. A literary prize in Okigbo's name was established by his friend and colleague, the Nobel Prize-winning author Wole Soyinka, in 1987. Truly scarce in cloth.
