Broadside: The Invisible Generation

[London: Project Sigma, 1966]. Broadside, with text and cut-up illustration offset printed in black in three columns on white stock, measuring 29cm x 43cm (11.5" x 17"). Horizontal fold smoothed-out at center, light wear and handling, with a few tiny edge tears, and a barely discernable trace of foxing along the left margin; Very Good+.

Broadside reproducing the text of a quasi-manifesto Burroughs wrote for the English underground newspaper International Times. Maynard & Miles note that over 1,000 copies were made but that the item was not given a Sigma index number, with no evidence existing to show distribution except by International Times itself, which provided the offprints. The upper margin prints "REPRINTED FROM INTERNATIONAL TIMES" in bold type, with a subscription notice to IT appearing at the lower right corner. This reprint was preceded by two versions of a poster produced by Michael English, one printed in silver ink and another in gold, in runs of 200 and 1,600 copies respectively. Uncommon.
