Publisher's original bright red pebble grain cloth titled and embellished in gilt and blind to boards, ruled in blind. 62pp.; [4] ads to rear. Strong and tight, slight bumping to corners, some light fraying to spine ends and a little inoffensive soiling of the cloth in places; internally clean and fresh, coated yellow endpapers, red leather bookplate of Ernest R. Gee to front pastedown, illustrated with an engraved frontis. and three plates, a little marginal toning to pages otherwise bright and sharp. A very good copy of a scarce work on hunting dogs. Housed in a tailor made felt lined folding case.

From the library of Ernest R. Gee, possibly the most notable mid 20th century dealer in sporting books, dealing with the time honored pursuits of shooting, hunting, and fishing.
