Slim octavo (22cm); yellow paper-covered boards, with titles stamped in bronze on front cover; [16]pp, with two wood engravings (one in black & white, one in colors) by Gertrude Hermes. A bit worn, with small losses to paper at spine, light soil; printed blank bookplate laid down inside front cover; just Very Good, but retaining the original glassine overlay (often missing). The wrappered issue precedes by several weeks.

The uncommon large paper edition of Eliot's poem, published as No.23 in Faber's "The Ariel Poems" series, to which Eliot would eventually contribute six works. GALLUP A14b.
