A series of illustrated articles documenting atrocities at German death camps, including Buchenwald and Nordhausen, as well as the massacre of civilians at the village of Oradour-sur-Glane, where Nazi stormtroopers murdered 642 residents – the town's entire population, but for a few who managed to escape – and set fire to the village, burning it to the ground. This special issue of the organ of the Provençale branch of the Union Française Universitaire, a left-wing student group with branches in several French provinces. The magazine is difficult to date, as no definitive entries exist in OCLC for this publication, and this special issue is not catalogued by any OCLC member institution under either the issue title or the general title; from contents, we estimate a ca. 1946-47 date. A rare and apparently unrecorded post-war account.
