Octavo (22.25cm); yellow paper-covered boards, with titling and pictorial elements stamped in gilt on spine and front cover; dustjacket; xii,339,[1]pp, with 44 illustrations and a folding map of Provence and the French Riviera. One upper board corner gently tapped (though still sharp); very Near Fine. Dustjacket is the South African issue, price clipped, with a stamp-sized sticker above the clip, the new price (R7/6) written in to the left of it, and a "John Baker" sticker over the publisher's imprint at base of spine panel; trivial wear and dustiness, else a bright, Near Fine example.
