A tight, square copy, with joints and hinges tight; just a touch of hand-soil to covers, still a Near Fine copy, lacking the dustwrapper. Scholarly survey of Cretan antiquities through approximately 1400 BCE. Text entirely in French. An extremely heavy and somewhat unwieldy volume, printed on thick paper and very prone to wear, especially stress at the hinges – this a well cared-for copy.
