Moscow: Litizdat, 1920. First impression. Lithographed poster, 88.5cm x 61cm (ca 35" x 24"); printed in black and red on thin cream stock. Light original wear and soil, including a few ink smudges that appear to be from printing; a few tiny mended tears in margins, still Near Fine. Professionally laid down on archival canvas.

A celebration of the anniversary of the October Revolution, issued during the Russian Civil War. Dmitri Moor (1883-1946; aka Dmitri Orlov) was one of the leading Russian innovators in graphic design during the Revolutionary period, producing dozens of poster designs as well as satirical cartoons and book illustrations.
