Large ad for Hugh Rees, Military and Naval Booksellers, tipped in facing title page. Skeen's obituary laid down on front free endpaper. From the collection of Major General Cyril M. Wagstaff, and later from the Royal Military Academy Library at Woolwich, with Wagstaff's ownership inscriptions and the library's stamp and printed label to front endpapers. Rubbed and bumped, but sound: Very Good.
Wagstaff served in the British Army on the North West Frontier of India during Skeen's tenure as Chief of the General Staff (India). [62165].
