[Richmond: Geo. L. Darte, 1936]. Octavo pamphlet. Staple-bound, printed paper wrappers; 10pp. Light external soil; faint corner-creases; Very Good or better.

Compilation of the author's letters to the editors of various Richmond newspapers, protesting a speaking appearance by James W. Ford, the African-American Communist Party leader, in any of Richmond's public buildings. "It would appear consistent to make inquiry as to why any public school building in Richmond should be thrown open for the possible promulgation of Communist doctrines such as [James W.] Ford canot fail to reflect..." Darte describes Ford as a "Negro communist," and there is a decided racist undercurrent to his anti-communist polemics. Scarce, privately-published pamphlet. OCLC notes a single location (UVA).
