Early owner's ink name to front endpaper, modest external wear, gentle sunning to spine, with some scuffing to upper edge of textblock, flaking to titling on front cover, with the gutter cracked (though still holding) at title page; Very Good. "Professor George Challenger leads a party of explorers who discover a remnant of the prehistoric world atop a plateau, Raraima, Venezuela" (Barron, Anatomy of Wonder 1-31).
