Among the hundred or so contributions are two early works, "Chant of the Army Cooks" and "Apres La Guerre," by the noted American writer, editor and bibliophile John T. Winterich, at this time a Private assigned to the staff of the Army newspaper Stars and Stripes. Scarce in jacket.
