Spine ends gently nuged, two volumes with a few bumped corners, otherwise a clean, Near Fine set. Dustjackets are all unclipped, gently spine-sunned, with light wear to spine ends and extremities, and a few tiny tears; Near Fine. Four extensive volumes on the exploration of the Niger, following its "discovery" by Mungo Park. The first volume contains the journals of Friedrich Hornemann and letters of Alexander Gordon Laing, with Volumes 2-4 covering The Bornu Mission (1822-25).
