Sound and straight, lightly rubbed with a few small scuffs, internally slightly toned but clean: Very Good.

Lippincott published the first complete edition of Allibone's dictionary in 1870-71, though portions had been printed by other publishers as early as 1859. The work is still occasionally cited in book dealers' descriptions.
