Upright; front joint cracked and board loose, but otherwise sound; plates worn at edges, with several detached and reattached to stubs, clean though with minor scattered foxing: Good or better.

Textbook on physics, chemistry, and astronomy, authored by an English Unitarian minister. First published in 1785; this is the first American edition, with corrections and editions by Samuel Webber, then a professor at (and later president of) Harvard. AMERICAN IMPRINTS 2190.
