A collection of Milne's humorous pieces for Punch, uniform with three earlier volumes of essays (The Day's Play, The Holiday Round, and Once a Week). These essay collections were reissued in omnibus format in 1929, but the original printings remain somewhat scarce. Milne's reputation-making Pooh books were not published until some five years later.
