An exquisitely produced volume, with numerous full-color illustrations, a foreword by Bobby Seale, a preface by Danny Glover, and contributions by Sonia Sanchez, Kathleen Cleaver, Colette Gaiter, Greg Jung Morozumi, Amiri Baraka, and St. Clair Bourne. While Rizzoli re-issued the book in 2014, the first printing remains uncommon in commerce.
