Gunnison, CO: Alan Swallow, 1943. First Edition. First printing. Octavo. Patterned card wrappers; 52pp. Inscribed on front endpaper to the poet Leonard Nathan, signed and dated in 1959. Fragile wrappers are rubbed with small losses on backstrip, darkened at extremities; some offsetting to endpapers; still a sound, about VG copy. The California poet's first published collection, uncommon and especially so signed. This a nice association copy; both poets would later be included in the Talisman Press Western Sampler of 1963.
