Green publisher's cloth, blindstamped series binding, titled in gilt on spine; plain endpapers; 165pp; 2pp ad for Francis & Co.'s "Little Library" for juvenile readers at front; frontispiece and elaborate decorative and historiated initials. Stable and straight, but cloth rubbed, faded, and stained, minor dampstaining to text, foxed: around Good. This collection, which includes "The Little Match-Girl" and "The Red Shoes," was first published in London in 1847.
