The dustjacket is price-clipped with original circular sticker "The New 1937 Zane Grey Novel" on front panel; chipping and edgewear with tape repairs to verso. Very Good only. Basis for the film West of the Pecos (1945) directed by Edward Killy and starring Robert Mitchum and Barbara Hale. Previously made in 1934 (also titled West of the Pecos starring Richard Dix).
