Blanck identifies this as an expanded reissue, with eleven new poems added, of Gilder's Lyrics and Other Poems (1885), which was in turn an expanded edition of his first two books, The New Day, 1876; and, The Poet and His Master, 1878. Further reprints would appear, each with some new material, as late as 1900. BAL 6570.
