Collection of poems, some of which first appeared in the pages of Masses and Mainstream, Daily Worker, Jewish Life, and California Quarterly. Issued to raise legal funds for Lowenfels and others, who were arrested under the Smith Act. Not uncommon, but seldom seen by us with the wraparound band, with a quote by Carl Sandburg.
