Ann Arbor: 1969. First Edition. Early issue of this short-lived bi-weekly counterculture paper out of Ann Arbor, which had close ties to the White Panther Party and SDS. The paper was published by Ken Kelley, a University of Michigan student who lived at the Trans-Love Energies commune off-campus. Contents include contributions by Kelley, Tom Anderson, Adrienne Tentler, Howard Kohn, Jack Smith, Marc Stickgold, Craig Penner, and others, with full-page cover art by cartoonist Kim Deitch. Tabloid (39.25cm); illustrated newsprint wrappers; 24pp; illus. Light wear and a few small tears to extremities, with some dustiness to front wrapper; Very Good+ or better, unfolded and without postal markings.
