New York: James Miller, n.d. but 1877? Octavo (ca. 18cm.); publisher's red decorative cloth, upper cover stamped in black, spine stamped in black and gilt; mixed pagination; frontispiece, text illus. throughout. Boards rather rubbed and corners bumped with brief loss, the whole quite faded, especially upper cover and spine, lacking front free endpaper. Good or better only.
Table of contents appear to be wholly unrelated to the actual contents of the book, which includes Louis May Alcott's unattributed novella "Will's Wonder Book," first serialized in "Merry's Museum" in 1868. The four works in this volume were originally published separately in the unauthorized Dirigo Series before being compiled here. See BAL185.
