The Garden at Chatsworth

After the 11th Duke of Devonshire (Andrew Cavendish) inherited the Dukedom, he and wife Hon. Deborah (Mitford) Cavendish set out to restore the grounds and gardens of Chatsworth, the family estate. Read about their trials and successes, as well as a comprehensive history of the family and stately home in this book, with copious color photo-illustrations by Gary Rogers. Incidentally, the Duchess apparently hailed from a famously literary (...among other things) family, being the youngest sister of notable authors Jessica and Nancy Mitford (...among other sisters); before her passing in 2014, she wrote a total of seven books about Chatsworth.
