Large quarto (25.5cm.); full contemporary mottled calf, gilt spine in six compartments, marbled endpapers; [2],clxi,[1],678pp.; steel engravings throughout text, woodcut initials, head and tail-pieces. Extremities quite rubbed with substantial exposure of boards at bottom edge of upper cover, lacking spine label, preliminary signatures (a-t) starting but present, small 19th-century ex libris to front pastedown, else a Good or better, collated and complete copy.
