Octavo (19cm); publisher's tan blind-embossed cloth, gilt-lettered spine; 359pp. Boards quite worn with loss at spine foot, corners bumped, brief fading to upper cover cloth, lacking front free endpaper, title page foxed and rather soiled, textblock unevenly browned. A Good only copy of a rather scarce work in any printing.

Recipes for perfuming clothes, marbling a globe glass, gilding carps and crawfish, and curing headaches can all be found on p. 15, while ways to remove flies from rooms and preserve flowers in salt are featured on p. 201.
