Reprint. 12mo (18.5cm.); publisher's grey blind-embossed cloth, gilt-lettered spine; 354pp. Corners and spine ends a bit bumped and rubbed with brief exposure, gilt spine almost entirely effaced, old pencil notes to front free endpapers, prliminaries rather soiled, long horizontal tear across rear free endpaper. Good or better overall. Novel set during the Irish famine of 1822 written pseudonymously by John Boyce, an Irish Catholic priest and immigrant to the United States.
