[Richmond, IN: 1850?]: by direction of the Meetings for Sufferings. First Edition. 16mo (13cm). Contemporary cloth-backed, marbled stiff card wrappers; 61,[4]pp. Text printed vertically. Rubbing to covers, else Very Good. Contemporary presentation inscription to front endpaper: "Rebecca T. Hobbs to her beloved aunt Anne Tatum," further annotated in pencil, "Received 4 mo [?] 1851."

Directory of Quaker meetings in Indiana and Ohio. The 1835 list referenced in the title was printed in Cincinnati, and a subsequent (1859) printing also bore a Cincinnati imprint; however Byrd & Peckham suggest (without asserting) a Richmond imprint for this edition, presumably on the strength of the first entry, which is for the Indiana Yearly Meeting at Richmond. Per on-line genealogical registries, the inscriber and inscribee appear to have been residents of Bloomingdale, in Parke County, Indiana. BYRD & PECKHAM 1654.
