Mild rubbing and a hint of darkening to cloth at extremities; small (<1/2") split to paper at front hinge, still a tight, attractive copy with spine gilt bright and un-rubbed; easily Very Good. The book in which Twain famously omitted all references to the weather; also reputedly the first book to be composed using phonographic dictation. BAL 3434.
