Buffalo: Center for United Labor Action, 1971. First Edition. Broadside flyer (27.5cm.); printed in black on white stock. Extremities unevenly toned, minor wear from handling, else Near Very Good. Issued in response to a meeting held by the Department of Transportion regarding a bus fare increase. "Of course, the hearing was held at 9AM so that few workers could attend." Flyer urges readers to demand a new hearing "in behalf of the working people," at which all NFT data would be available. Contemporary newspaper accounts indicate that despite the Center's efforts, New York state transportation did indeed raise the bus fare to 40¢ a ride (approx. $2.50 in 2018). This flyer not separately catalogued in OCLC as of December, 2018.
