Glazer's pioneering recordings of Joe Hill's iconic labor songs, including "The Preacher and the Slave," "Casey Jones the Union Scab," "The Rebel Girl," "Mr. Block," and others. Glazer was the leading exponent of the labor song tradition during the folk revival, and his interpretations of these songs would not be superceded until Utah Phillips breathed an entirely new life into them in the 1970s.
