Personal copy of Chicago psychiatrist Jerome Kavka (1922-2012), long-time supervising analyst at the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis. Kavka is most noted for having been, as an intern, Ezra Pound's attending therapist at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. In that capacity he helped mount a successful insanity defense, saving Pound from a death sentence for treason.
