Description of the interwar work-student program, a national social project that allowed young men to attend college during a period of rampant inflation and poverty in Germany following the First World War. The program was a direct precursor to similar work-study programs in the United States. Quite uncommon in the dustwrapper. Profusely illustrated. Text in English.
