Amsterdam: Amsterdamse Kraakgroepen, ca. 1980. Original pictorial poster (42x59.5cm.) printed silkscreen in green and orange on pale green stock. Light wrinkling from handling, else Near Fine. Squatters movement protest poster issued in response to the newly passed vacancy law ("leegstandswet"), which allowed home owners to rent their homes while simultaneously trying to sell them, making squatting significantly more difficult. The image shows riot police and tanks passing over a mound of rubble. Also issued in a black and white variant lacking the Amsterdamse Kraakgroepn imprint, the only such located by OCLC in North America as of August, 2017 (Yale).
