[Amsterdam?]: PSP, . Iconic Pacifist Socialist Party election poster from 1971, presenting "a pure and disarming image. A naked woman, her arms spread out, looking euphorically into the sky. The cow in the meadow adds a kind of earthy, unadulterated Dutchness. The poster was designed for the Dutch parliamentary elections of 1971. The photo drew a mixed response. Some thought it liberating, others considered it sexist and even offensive" (from the Rijksmuseum catalog description). Original photographic poster (63x46cm.) printed offset in green on glossy white stock; faint horizontal folds, the whole a bit wrinkled, top edge shows discoloring on verso only slightly affecting image, else Near Very Good and sound.
