Octavo (19.25cm.); publisher's cloth in blue-grey pictorial dust jacket printed in orange; xxix,[3],160pp.; photographic frontispiece, 5 leaves of photographic stills. Jacket spine a bit toned, brief purple pencil smudge to rear cover, some foxing to early leaves, else Very Good to Near Fine. Inscribed and signed by the editor to his son on front free endpaper: "For Bob on his eighteenth birthday / Frederick H. Koch / Chapel Hill, 23 Nov. 1937." Ownership bookplate accomplished by the son on front pastedown. The first in a series of three volumes, this including Hubert Heffner's "Dod Gast Ye Both! A Comedy of Mountain Moonshine"; and Paul Greene's "The Last of the Lowries," a "Play of the Croatan Outlaws of Robeson County."
