Large, thick quarto (28.5cm.); publisher's half vellum over batik-style paper-covered boards, top edge gilt; xx,20pp. & 152 leaves of photographic plates, approximately half in color and each accompanied by a printed tissue-guard; additional color photographic frontispiece with printed tissue guard. Some light shelf wear, vellum lightly dust-soiled with some brief foxing, front joint expertly recased, else a Very Good, sound copy, internally near fine.
