Amsterdam: Bond Voor Dienstplichtigen, n.d., ca. 1973. Recruitment broadsheet issued by the underground organization the League of Conscripts (BVD), founded in 1970 as an anti-militaristic group within the Army. Verso adorned with a cartoon of two members of the army, their ears plugged using rolled up pieces of BVD propaganda, as their superior officer blathers on. Verso printed in triple column providing the reader with various means of sabotaging the army from within. OCLC locates one copy as of October, 2016, in the Netherlands. Large broadsheet (43x30cm.) printed offset in black on white stock; rather worn and soiled from handling, three previous mail folds (as issued?), a few tiny chips and closed tears along right-hand edge. Good and sound overall.
