Young adult novel dealing with the fascist threat from Germany. Among the scarcest of Trease's many juvenile titles, this was published as no. 4 of the publisher's "Key Books" series, which aimed to present leftist sentiments in a way that was not overtly propagandistic. Other titles included Jack Lindsay's "England My England," Richard Goodman's "Britain's Best Ally," and J.B.S. Haldane's "Science and You." OCLC locates 2 copies in North America as of July, 2016, at Yale and Harvard.
