What Led to the Lindbergh Kidnaping

Charleston, WV: West Virginia Anti-Saloon League, [19332]. First Edition. Broadside, 11" x 8-1/2". Text in three columns, beneath headline; printed on translucent white stock. Minor edge-creasing; Very Good or better.

Brief introduction, then reprints remarks by Hon. James F. Fullbright of Missouri, first published in the St. Louis Star for March 3, 1932. Fullbright lays blame for the Lindbergh kidnaping at the feet of a dysfunctional legal system, led by "lawyers who every bar association president knows should be in the penitentiary...Crime will rule the United States until racketeering is driven out of the legal profession;" and goes on to refute popular claims that lawlessness has been a by-product of Prohibition.
