Small octavo (19.5cm.); original cloth in brick pictorial dust jacket; 62pp. Short closed tears along jacket extremities, spine faded; interior fine. Very Good and sound. Brown's second (and last?) book, a self-published collection of untitled poems composed during her time as a Spar pharmacist mate in the Women's Coast Guard Reserve during World War II. Includes pieces evoking the war: "His eyes once dimmed, now grow bright / As he hears the din of incessant bombs / Over a stilled and broken land..." (p. 24). 5 copies in OCLC as of February, 2015.
