[London]: War Office, 1947. First Edition. One of a 5-volume record of the armament of the German Land Forces during World War II, part of which never made it into service. Designed to be chiefly a photographic album with cursory information for each piece of equipment, with numbers quoted from German sources rather than American or British reports. Album separated into three sections, "Tanks," "Self propelled Artillery," and "Armoured cars." Almost certainly produced in very limited numbers and designed to be used as a general inventory since detailed mechanical and technological descriptions of many of the machines had already been published.
