Radio broadcast "Manion Forum," founded by Clarence Manion in 1954, was a weekly ultra-conservative radio talkshow in which the speaker made various outlandish predictions, including that the U.S. would be disarmed through the United Nations; that socialized medicine for some would lead to socialized medicine for all; that J. Edgar Hoover was right about Communism; that the Test Ban Treaty was "A Covenant with Death and an Agreement with Hell"; and that Foreign Aid is "A Communist Plot to Bankrupt America." Special emphasis on the Cold War and Cuba.
