Press release issued by the government office of Catalonia. Originally issued in Catalan on the 14th of April, towards the end of the Aragon Offensive (March 7 to April 19, 1938), a Nationalist campaign during the Spanish Civil War. This communication gives a detailed description of a government-sponsored trip to the Aragon front provided for "A group of foreign journalists, among whom were two women...On their return, they declared themselves greatly impressed by the spirit of the troops, all volunteers." The journalists had enjoyed a meal in the trenches, the only hiccup in their pleasure being a shortage of tobacco.
