Octavo; publisher's light blue vertical-ribbed cloth, with titles stamped in white on spine (Blanck's 'B' binding) and decorations stamped in ivory, orange and navy blue on front panel; top edge gilt; 366, [3pp] ads; illustrated frontispiece with 5 black and white plates inserted. Hinges neatly repaired, cloth lightly rubbed and soiled at extremities, with gilt at top edge dulled and final plate present but detached; faint, thumb-sized dampstain to lower edge of final 30pp; just Very Good.
