Largely forgotten, Adam was the author of six books between 1937 and 1970, including her highly-regarded semi-autobipographical novel I'm Not Complaining (1938; reprinted by Virago Classics in 1980). U.K. edition precedes, but all editions are uncommon, especially in dustwrapper. Octavo.
