Upper board corners lightly bumped, with a few tiny smudges on lower edge of front board and rough erasure to former owner's name on front endpaper; Very Good+. Dustjacket is unclipped, with small chips to edges and spine ends, and a few short tears; Very Good+. Vidal's second novel, a work with some gay aspects but one in which the author felt he played things a bit too safely. YOUNG 2657.
